I got a sign outside my door the other day warning me that a movie will be filmed outside my house on the weekend. The movie was called Milk, which I naturally Googled to find was a Gus Van Sant film starring Sean Penn about Harvey Milk. Today online I noticed they’re redoing parts of the Castro so it could look like the 70s which is when much of the film takes place. Neato.
